Description

This Continuing Education class is designed to help real estate professionals learn about Home Equity Conversion Mortgages (HECMs). These loans are made for homeowners 62 and older, allowing them to use some of their home’s equity as cash while staying in their home or purchase a new home.

 

We’ll go over the basics: who qualifies for a HECM, the different ways the loan can be set up, and what types of homes work with HECMs. You’ll also learn how to guide clients through the HECM process, making it easier for them to understand and feel comfortable.

 

By the end of this course, you’ll be able to explain HECMs as an option for clients who may want to downsize, move closer to family, or just make the most of their home’s value in retirement. Join us to grow your knowledge and be better prepared to help clients exploring new ways to use their home equity.
