Description

This License to Carry class will be led by Texas DPS Certified Instructor, Johnny Price, of Big Iron Handgun License Training. 

Instructional portion will be held in the TBBOR Classroom; a 10 min travel to the range will be required for the proficiency portion.

The class cost of $90 includes the state mandated course for certification, and range time, which is payable the day of directly to the instructor. State license fee of $40 is not included.

There is no longer a caliber requirement. 

Please bring your pistol and 50 rounds of ammunition. A rental + ammo will be available if needed.

Class is limited to 29.

BIG IRON Handgun License Training is the largest provider of the License to Carry (LTC) classes (formerly the Concealed Handgun License CHL) in Texas.  They cover firearms safety do’s and dont’s, the laws and penal codes of Texas, the use of force and if necessary the use of Deadly Force. 

One of the most important topics is SITUATIONAL AWARENESS, paying attention to what is going on around you in the hopes that an incident can be AVOIDED.
